Covid-19, Oban Phoenix Cinema
Covid-19

Here you will find all the information you need to know before your next visit to your local cinema.
Test and Protect
When you book online, by phone or in person you will be asked for your name and phone number. This will help us to contact everyone as part of the government's strategy to stop the spread of covid-19.
Please do not come to the cinema if you have symptoms. This includes a high temperature, a new continuous dry cough, loss of taste or smell. You can book a test at: www.nhs.uk

Staff Training
All staff have been trained on COVID-19 and the measures put in place to keep you safe. Please ask if you have any questions or concerns. cinema@obanphoenix.com

Hand Sanitising Stations & Screens
There will be hand sanitising stations throughout the foyer, please use these! Plastic screens will be in position on the box office/concessions desk for both your safety and the safety of staff.

Masks/Face Coverings
These must be worn when entering and moving around the cinema. Face masks/coverings can be removed once seated to have food and drink. Those who are exempt and Under 5s do not need to wear face coverings.

Social Distancing
A distance of 2 metres must be maintained throughout the building. You will see markers on the floor to show this. You'll be allocated seats, please sit in the seats shown on your ticket to ensure we can have adequate distance between each visitor/group.

Example, seats E7 & E8 have been booked by a customer. Around their booking you can see the social distance gaps have been blocked off from sale, leaving you free to book E1-E3.
You will also notice some seats missing in row H and J (VIP seats). This is to maintain a social distance between VIP couches.
One Way System
One way systems will be in place in the foyer and cinema screen, please follow the guides on the floor.

Cleaning
Staff will be cleaning facilities regularly to ensure counters, door handles, seats, and bathrooms are clean. Please use our waste and recycling bins after the show.

Booking Tickets
We recommend that you book in advance and purchase tickets online, and pay by contactless payment where possible.

Timing
You may notice there is extra time between each show. This is to allow staff to clean and sanitise seats and cupholders between shows.
